if McCain becomes President, he'll beat Reagan for oldest elected President by two years... I believe he's 71 now. Is he really "too old" as Chuck Norris says, to be President?

if Obama should win, he'll be the first President to be born in the 1960's... he's not much older than I am (a couple of years at least, and I was born in 1964)

How was he governer of two states? Did he set up residency in both? How long do you have to live in a state before you can be a govenor there?

And I vote for wanting to know how a "nobody" came to author a book with a "somebody".

This is cheating a bit, but a great related trivia question:

Q - Who is the only man to serve as governor of two states, president, AND a U. S. Senator?

A - Sam Houston. Governor of Tennessee and Texas, President of the Republic of Texas (there's the cheat), and U. S. Senator after Texas was admitted to the union.

But I want a Somebody too.

That must be the problem with modern politicians: All are now born in hospitals. Maybe they all should go back home and stay there, especially Carter. he is too much of a global meddler and gossip.

Another correction. I believe Thomas Jefferson was not misled into believing it was the 4th. His was told it was the 4th on the day of the 4th.

Dr. L.
I believe you are incorrect in stating President Reagan was the only president to survive a bullet wound. T. Roosevelt was delivering a speech when someone shot him in the chest. They arrested the shooter and TR finished his speech with a bullet near his heart.
