1. You don’t have to be all that great on Monday morning.
2. By about 11 o’clock Tuesday morning, you will have forever forgotten this weekend anyway.
3. Routine, Structure, and Taking Care of Business are a solid blessing in anyone’s life.
4. Friday’s about 90% a weekend day anyway — meaning you’re really only four days away from a whole new weekend!
5. God loves you, and has put you in exactly the place, time, and condition that he knows will, in the end, prove perfectly ideal for you.

Here in our nation's capital that is a conservative figure. To half of the federal worker it is 100% weekend day since they take it off. To the rest of us it is like 99% weekend since the people we need to work with are all off.

Though I, as does tend to happen with so many train mishaps, do tend to spend too much time getting off track.

It can be a little too much when someone has decided to end it all by standing in front of the train, but then so is writing a good blog. No, not like standing in front of a train, but you know, difficult. You do it well, and there are some other blogs I've read that seem very well written too.
Or maybe it is like standing in front of a train. I know it is for me some days.

John, I'm an investigator for the Chicago commuter railroad. I have been an investigator for close to forty years. Like Moses in the dessert perhaps. When trains have accidents, I go to the scene to see what happened. I also investigate passenger accidents and employee injuries.
It's interesting and I seldom know what my day will contain when I arrive in the morning.

We've had a great weekend, Deb and I. The weather was perfect, think something like San Diego in Chicago. We visited with friends and attended cook outs with family to celebrate the holiday. Today at church the message was terrific. I have a job I enjoy and Mondays aren't too terrible. I look forward to the weekend but not at the expense of the neat things that fill each week. Like your blog for instance. I much more enjoy it six or seven times a week than two or three. Good photo of you too!
