Yes, God does speak through other people. I recently heard someone say that the key to Pentecost is not that the disciples received the Spirit, but that God the Father got a new body. Us. We're his hands, feet and (when we get it right) mouthpiece. (Some of us have a bigger mouth than others.)

BTW, there really is a WGOD station broadcasting in the Caribbean.

Well, think of something you do love, then.

Think of what you love the very most, and multiply it times infinity.

That'll illustrate it waaaaay better than okra can .

Arlywn -

In my opinion? Taking your question as the hypothetical it is? YES!

Because people are always getting themselves confused with God, and feeling as if they must figure it all out and nail it all down in their own terms in order for things to be right with the world.

So regardless what God says, people will always argue about it. It's our nature. And kinda funny, when you think about it. I bet one of the things God says most often is "See? SEE? You are SO making my point for me!"

It is grace, pure and simple, that he loves us anyway and keeps on talking to us and through us. THAT is why I love him so. Well, that and the fact he IS, after all, GOD.

Love this post, John. And the next one as well, which I'll comment on at some point soon. Right now I'll just ask, "What, was it a little too quiet around here for ya??" (Not any more, it isn't! ) ;-)

I have a question.

If God said he hated everyone, would everyone argue on who god hates more?

I've had to read this twice to understand you are talking about ALL people, not just the saved. ALL PEOPLE. How awesome is that! Way to start the day, John.
(I'm sending this to my kids.)
