I just came across this old TV commercial. About five seconds into it, I felt my brain starting fizzing over how many things in it were just … wrong. Be afraid.

Yeah, right? It’s just SHOCKING what a complete [bad word] he is.
The first thing I thought of was how damn dated this thing is. Any man said something like that to his wife today, she would respond with “So make the damn coffee yourself, a** hole.” And he’d deserve it to. This wasn’t the Gay Nineties – it was in our generation. Not that long ago.
The weird thing about the commercial is that it's so LONG. It seems like a movie. It's weird to realize how long it's been since I saw a commercial that lasted a minute. Now a minute seems like an hour. I kept thinking, "Man, this thing really has a PLOT."
